About Boruk Games

Boruk Games is a small, hand-built collection of browser-based board games. No app to install, no account to create — just open the site and play.

The story

This site started as a single project — a digital dungeon crawler I wanted to play with friends without anyone having to download anything. After a dozen-plus iterations on that one game, the obvious next step was to build more games and give them a home together. Boruk Games is that home.

What's here

One game is live today, and two more are in active development:

Dungeon Crawler

Live

A procedurally-generated dungeon for 1–8 players. Manage heroes, gather loot, survive.

Run Out

In development

A poker variant with a new rhythm to it. Familiar bones, fresh twists.

Outpost

In development

A strategy game about deploying units, holding positions, and outmaneuvering rivals.

How it works

Every game on this site runs entirely in your browser. Nothing to install, nothing to download. Games are designed to be picked up in a few minutes — whether you're playing solo or with a group passing a screen around.

Everything here is free to play. There are no paywalls, no microtransactions, and no advertisements at the moment — though if the site grows, lightweight non-intrusive ads may eventually help cover hosting. Any change to that will be flagged here and in the Privacy Policy well in advance.

Who's behind it

Boruk Games is built and maintained by a single developer. Every game on the site is hand-coded — no game engine, no off-the-shelf templates, just HTML, CSS, and JavaScript shaped into something playable. The result is intentionally lightweight and a little rough around the edges in places, in the way personal projects tend to be.

If you've played one of the games and have feedback — what's fun, what's broken, what should exist — please send it over. A one-person studio lives or dies on word of mouth and player suggestions.
